Elizabeth Humann – Criminal Defense and Family Law

Prior to law school. Elizabeth Humann earned a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from the George Washington University. She also served the citizens of Broward and Collier Counties as a state probation officer and as a law enforcement officer for over thirteen years.

Beth then attended the Ave Maria School of Law, where she graduated first in her class. While in law school, she served as President of the Criminal Law Society and as the Vice President of Publications for the Moot Court Board. She interned with the Public Defender’s Office for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit as well as for the Honorable John Steele of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.

As a high scorer on the Florida bar exam, Beth was invited to be the speaker at the Fourth District Court of Appeal Induction Ceremony.

Since law school, Beth has worked in private practice, practicing both family law and criminal law. Based on the endorsement of her peers and on her performance, she was selected in 2018 as a Rising Star by the American Society of Legal Advocates. She is also an adjunct professor at the Ave Maria School of Law.

Beth’s prior law enforcement experience and her experience in the legal field enable her to analyze your criminal case thoroughly and to negotiate effectively with the State Attorney’s Office. Should justice require that your case go to trial, Beth and the other partners of the Gulf Coast Legal Group will ensure that every possible defense has been pursued.
