Jill Aleshire – Immigration Law

Jill Aleshire graduated from Southern Methodist University with a major in English and a minor in Political Science. During her undergraduate years, Jill interned and worked at the City of University Park, Texas, as a Human Resource Intern and Court Clerk. She continued her studies at the Massachusetts School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2007. During law school, Jill completed a Judicial Clerkship that introduced her to the complications of the United States Immigration system. After graduation, Jill practiced criminal defense, civil litigation, and immigration law.

Jill has worked with and defended immigration cases for over 10 years. She has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 2007, and is also a member of the Massachusetts Federal District Court. She is admitted to practice Federal Immigration Law in the United States Immigration Courts  by the Department of Justice- Executive Office for Immigration Review. Since 2010, Jill has limited her practice to Immigration cases only. This has enabled her to get to know her clients and understand their individualized cases. Please remember that Jill is not admitted to the Florida bar and thus cannot practice in Florida state courts.

Immigration is a very personal area of the law, as the ramifications of an individual’s Immigration case may last a lifetime. When deciding on an Immigration Attorney, you should take the time to discuss your options and understand the process.  Jill works hard to explain the complexities of immigration law and to help her clients find solutions to their immigration situations.
